브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 국민의힘은 전국 40개 의과대학의 의대생 복귀율 97%에 달하는 것과 관련 "의대 교육 정상화를 위한 중요한 첫걸음으로, 교실로 돌아온 의대생들의 용기를 높이 평가한다"고 밝혔다.
조용술 국민의힘 대변인은 2일 논평을 통해 "이번 의대생들의 결정은 단순한 개인의 선택을 넘어 대한민국 의료체계 안정을 위한 의미 있는 행동"이라며 이같이 말했다.

이어 "일부 의료계에서는 의대생들의 복귀를 부정적으로 평가하며 수업 거부를 주장하고 있지만, 이는 책임감 있는 태도로 보기 어렵다"며 "학생들이 수업을 받을 권리는 당연하며, 의료계 또한 국민의 신뢰를 회복하기 위해 성숙한 대응을 해야 한다"고 지적했다.
조 대변인은 또한 "정부 역시 의대 교육이 조속히 정상화될 수 있도록 철저한 점검과 지원을 아끼지 말아야 한다"며 "의료계와 지속적으로 소통하며 현실적인 해결책을 마련해야 한다"고 강조했다.
