JTV 전주방송이 제작한 특집 다큐멘터리 '석산과 오페라(연출 하원호)'가 2025 한국민영방송대상에서 최우수상을 수상했다.
한국민영방송협회가 주최하는 이번 시상에서 '석산과 오페라'는 개발이 끝난 뒤 복구되지 못한 채 방치돼 있는 폐석산의 활용 방안을 모색했다.
특히 폐석산에 오페라 공연장ㆍ미디어아트 전시장ㆍ호텔 등을 지어 지역 활성화를 이끌어 낸 프랑스ㆍ오스트리아ㆍ중국의 사례를 취재해 폐석산의 숨겨진 가치를 찾아냈다.
