세종시교육청, 마약 선제적 대응 나서

세종지역 학생들 마약 예방을 위한 업무협약식이 17일 열렸다.

세종시교육청과 한국마약퇴치운동본부 충남지부는 이날 시교육청에서 업무협약을 체결하고 공동대응에 나섰다.

이번 협약은 양 기관이 학교 내 마약 관련 문제에 대한 선제적인 방안을 위해 마련됐다.

앞서 세종시교육청과 마약퇴치운동본부는 지난달부터  희망학교를 대상으로 마약 예방 교육을 실시하고 있다.

최교진 교육감은 “이번 협약으로 학생들에게 마약 예방에 대한 실질적인 해결책을 제공하는 중요한 첫걸음이 될 것.”이라며 "마약예방교육을 통해 학생들에게 올바른 가치관을 심어주고, 건강한 학교 문화를 만들기 위해 .노력하겠다.”고 말했다.

한편, 세종교육청은 마약 등 약물오·남용 등을 예방 캠페인을 5월에 실시하고, 일선학교에 홍보와 교육 활동을 전개한다.
