[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 18일 시청 대회의실에서 ‘지속가능발전 기본전략 및 추진계획 수립 연구 용역’ 최종보고회를 개최했다.
보고회에는 시의원, 김해시지속가능발전위원회 위원, 김해시지속가능발전협의회 회원 및 관계 공무원이 참석하였으며, 연구를 수행한 (재)김해연구원은 20년 단위의 김해시 지속가능발전 기본전략과 5년 단위의 추진계획에 대한 연구 용역 결과에 대해 발표하였다.
이날 지속가능발전 비전으로 ‘함께 그리는 미래, 지속가능한 김해’가, 3대 전략으로 ▲혁신기반 지속가능 경제 육성 ▲포용적 사회·문화 공동체 실현 ▲생태친화적 녹색도시 조성이 제시됐다. 또 UN과 국가의 17개 발전 목표를 김해시 여건에 부합되도록 수정한 김해형 지속가능발전목표(SDGs)와 52개 세부 목표 그리고 목표달성을 위한 173개 단위사업을 제시했다.
김해시는 향후 용역 보고서를 바탕으로 내부 검토 과정을 거쳐 김해시만의 지속가능발전 기본전략 및 추진계획을 수립한다.
안경원 부시장은 “지속가능발전 기본전략과 추진계획은 김해시의 경제, 사회 그리고 환경분야의 균형 있는 발전을 위한 주요한 실천 지침이 될 것”이라며 “향후 추진계획의 체계적인 이행에 만전을 기하겠다”고 말했다.
