군포시 ‘제45회 장애인의 날’ 기념행사 개최

군포시(시장 하은호)가 지난 4월 16일 군포시 장애인센터에서 ‘행복을 바라봄, 일상을 담아봄, 희망을 이어봄’이라는 슬로건 아래 제45회 장애인의 날 기념행사를 개최했다. 군포시장애인단체총연합회(회장 박상환)가 주관한 이날 행사에는 장애인단체 관계자 및 군포시 거주 장애인과 가족 등을 비롯해 하은호 군포시장, 김귀근 군포시의회 의장, 도의원, 시의원 등이 참석했다.

이날 행사는 장애인과 비장애인이 함께 어울리는 행사가 될 수 있도록 경기도장애인복지회 군포시지부 소속 장애인합창단의 식전 공연을 시작으로, 1부에서는 장애인 인권선언 낭독, 장애인 복지증진에 공이 큰 유공자 38명에 대한 표창장 수여, 기념사와 축사가 진행됐으며, 2부에서는 축하공연과 장애인식 개선을 위한 장애인 단편영화 상영이 진행되어 관객들에게 즐거움과 큰 감동을 선사했다.

하은호 군포시장은 “장애인복지증진에 노력하고 있는 장애인 및 유공자 그리고 단체장님들께 감사드리며 장애인의 날 기념행사로 장애인의 날의 의미를 되새기고 장애인과 비장애인이 지역사회에서 동행하며 행복하게 살아갈 수 있도록 장애인복지에 더욱 힘 쓰겠다”고 전했다.

군포시는 장애인식개선 및 장애인 사회참여의식을 고취하고 장애인과 지역주민이 함께하는 화합의 장을 제공하기 위해 매년 장애인의 날 기념행사를 진행하고 있다.
