안양시, 자동차 ‘멸실 인정 및 말소신청 원스톱 처리 서비스’ 시행

안양시가 자동차 ‘멸실 인정 및 말소신청 원스톱 처리 서비스’를 시행 중이라고 지난 4월 17일 밝혔다.

이번 제도 개선을 통해 할 수 있게 되면서, 시민이 최소 두 번 이상 방문해야 했던 번거로움을 줄일 수 있게 됐다.

아울러 행정기관은 멸실 후 미말소 차량에 대한 관리 누락을 방지할 수 있게 돼 행정의 효율성과 정확성이 한층 제고될 전망이다.

기존에는 자동차가 멸실된 경우 먼저 시청에 방문해 ‘멸실 인정’을 받은 뒤 일정 기간이 지난 후 다시 관공서를 재방문해 ‘말소신청’을 별도로 해야 하는 불편이 있었다.

이 과정에서 시민이 말소신청을 누락해 자동차 명의가 계속 남아 있는 사례가 빈번히 발생해왔다.

안양시민이 자동차 멸실·말소를 하기 위해서는 신분증을 지참(본인 방문 시)하고 안양시청 별관 1층 종합민원실에 방문하면 된다.

최대호 안양시장은 “시민들이 더욱 편리하게 행정 서비스를 이용할 수 있도록 행정의 효율성을 높여 시민이 체감할 수 있는 적극행정을 실현하겠다”고 밝혔다.
