새로운 미래를 준비하는 모임(새미준)은 4월 24일 보도자료에서 “주요 50여 직능단체 회장단 및 임원은 4월 24일(목) 오후 3시 홍준표 후보 캠프에서 후보지지 모임을 가졌다”고 알렸다.
새로운 미래를 준비하는 모임(새미준)은 이 자료에서 “우리나라 경제의 근간을 이루고 있는 1천만 직능인과 직능단체 발전을 위한 정책개발, 직능·중소자영업의 처우 개선과 현안을 해결하고 경제 성장의 정치를 펼 국가지도자로 홍준표 후보를 적극 지지하여 대선에서 승리 기반 구축에 기여하겠다”고 밝혔다.

이 자료에 따르면, 이날 지지 선언에는 새로운 미래를 준비하는 모임(새미준) 이영수 중앙회장, 김선동 전 의원(선대위 조직총괄) 및 직능단체 회장단, 지회·지부장 등 70여 명이 참석했다.
이영석 대한장애인조정연맹 회장(전 한국건물위생관리협회 회장)은 “중소상공인, 자영업자들의 어려운 사정을 이해하고 과감한 정책으로 1천만 직능인의 권익을 위해 소신을 펴 나갈 홍준표 후보를 지지하고 성원 할 것”이라고 강조했다.

김상규 한국수기사협회중앙회 회장은 “탄핵을 겪으면서 국민들은 강력한 추진력과 리더십을 갖춘 후보를 절실히 요청하고 있으며, 국정을 안정시키고 새 정치를 통해 국리민복(國利民福)을 구현해 나갈 홍준표 후보를 적극 지지하여 본선 승리를 일구어 낼 것”이라고 역설했다.
새로운 미래를 준비하는 모임(새미준) 직능위원회(황한웅 위원장) 주관으로 열린 이 날 지지 선언에는 대한장애인조정연맹, 한국이용사회중앙회, 한국중소자영업총연합회, 한국보일러설비협회를 비롯, 한국공인탐정협회, 한국수기사총연합회, 사회안전범국민포럼, 한국위생물수건처리업중앙회, 대한생활체육회, 한국요양보호사회중앙회, 한국컴퓨터유기기기구유통협위회, 한국경비원협회중앙회 등 다양한 분야의 직능단체가 참여했다.
Major 50 Professional Organizations Declare Support for Presidential Candidate Hong Joon-pyo

On April 24, the New Future Preparation Association (Samijun) announced in a press release that “The chairmen and executives of the major 50 professional organizations held a candidate support meeting at the Hong Joon-pyo camp at 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 24.”
In this document, the New Future Preparation Association (Samijun) stated that “We will actively support candidate Hong Joon-pyo as a national leader who will develop policies for the development of 10 million professional people and professional organizations that form the foundation of our country’s economy, improve the treatment of professional and small business owners, resolve current issues, and implement politics of economic growth, thereby contributing to building a foundation for victory in the presidential election.”
According to this document, the declaration of support that day was attended by approximately 70 people including New Future Preparation Association (Samijun) Central Chairman Lee Young-soo, former lawmaker Kim Seon-dong (Chief of the Election Committee Organization), chairmen of professional organizations, and branch and chapter heads.
Lee Young-seok, the president of the Korea Disabled Rowing Federation (former president of the Korea Building Sanitation Management Association), emphasized, “I will support and cheer on candidate Hong Joon-pyo, who understands the difficult circumstances of small business owners and the self-employed and will boldly implement policies to protect the rights and interests of 10 million professionals.”
Kim Sang-gyu, the president of the Korea Handicapped Association, emphasized, “As we go through the impeachment, the people are desperately requesting a candidate with strong driving force and leadership, and we will actively support candidate Hong Joon-pyo, who will stabilize state affairs and realize national interests and people’s happiness through new politics, and achieve victory in the general election.”
The declaration of support held on this day, hosted by the Professional Committee (Chairman Hwang Han-woong) of the Meeting to Prepare for a New Future (Sammijun), was attended by various professional organizations including the Korea Disabled Rowing Federation, Korea Federation of Barrier-Free Business, Korea Federation of SMEs, Korea Boiler Installations Association, Korea Certified Detectives Association, Korea Handicapped Association, Social Safety National Forum, Korea Sanitary Towel Disposal Association, Korea Sports for All, Korea Nursing Care Association, Korea Computer Abandoned Equipment Distribution Association, and Korea Security Guards Association.
