브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 정대철 헌정회장은 1일 한덕수 대통령 권한대행 국무총리의 대선 출마와 관련 "대통령이라는 게 운이 따라야 하는데 당신에게 운이 오는 것 같다고 말했다"고 밝혔다.
정 회장은 이날 KBS라디오 전격시사에 출연해 "운이 따르고 있으니 너무 안 한다는 소리는 하지 말고, 가만 두고 보라는 정도의 이야기를 했다"며 이같이 말했다.
그는 "운이 간다는 게 꼭 대통령이 된다는 뜻이 아니라 될 가능성이 높아진다는 것"이라며 "대한민국에 여러가지를 갖춘 사람들은 있지만 그에게 환경과 운 등 가능성이 높아지는 것 같으니 준비하고 나오는 것이 좋을 듯 보인다"고 설명했다.
정 회장은 또한 한 대행이 '대통령감'은 된다고 평가하며 "필요한 능력이 있는 사람이며 시운에 맞는 능력이 있는 분"이라고 했다.
정 회장은 또한 유력 대권주자인 이재명 더불어민주당 후보와 맞붙으려면 빅텐트 같이 힘을 합치는 전략이 바람직하다면서 "국민의힘에서 김문수·한동훈 후보 중 한 분이 나와서 합치고 다른 후보들도 다 힘을 합쳐야 제대로 된 게임을 할 수 있다"고 주장했다.
