브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 민주노총 서비스연맹 전국가전통신서비스노동조합 바디프랜드지회(이하 가전통신노조)는 7일 강웅철 바디프랜드 이사의 부도덕한 실태가 드러났다면서 즉각 물러나야 한다고 비판했다.
가전통신노조는 이날 보도자료를 통해 "조선비즈 보도를 통해 바디프랜드의 공동창업주이자 이사회 멤버인 강웅철 이사의 심각한 도덕적 해이가 다시 한번 드러났다. 강 이사는 2019년 6월부터 2020년 2월까지 약 9개월 동안 서울 강남의 유흥업소에서 무려 1억 1,845만 원을 법인카드로 결제한 사실이 새롭게 밝혀졌다. 이 결제는 총 27회에 걸쳐 이루어졌으며, 단 한 번에 최대 875만 원에 달하는 금액을 지출한 것으로 확인됐다"고 설명했다.

가전통신노조는 "그뿐만 아니라 강 이사는 2019년 2월부터 2023년 1월까지 약 1,554만 원의 병원비를 법인카드로 사용한 사실이 추가로 확인됐으며, 현재 횡령 혐의로 재판에 넘겨진 상태"라며 "이러한 반복적인 부정 사용은 단순한 착오가 아닌, 심각한 도덕적 결함을 드러내는 사례"라고 꼬집었다.
아울러 "회사는 2년 연속 적자임에도 불구하고 매년 300억 원이 넘는 배당을 주주들에게 지급하고 있다. 이는 단기적인 지분 수익을 우선시하는 경영 행태의 결과이며, 기업의 장기적인 안정성을 훼손하는 행위"라고 비판했다.
