(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 19일, 인천시가 실시한 ‘2024년 자율적 내부통제 제도 운영’ 군·구 평가에서 10개 군·구 가운데 2위를 차지했다고 밝혔다.
부평구에 따르면, 이번 평가는 청백-e 시스템, 자기진단제도, 공직자 자기관리시스템 등 3대 자율적 내부통제 제도 운영 실적이 종합적으로 반영돼 이뤄졌다.
부평구는 전 분야에서 고르게 높은 점수를 받으며 자율적 내부통제 역량을 입증했다.
‘자율적 내부통제 제도’란 행정안전부가 지방자치단체의 청렴성과 책임 행정 강화를 목표로 도입한 제도로, 사후 적발 중심의 감사 한계를 보완하고 공직 비리를 사전에 예방하기 위한 상시 내부통제 시스템이다.
특히, 공직자 스스로 자신의 업무를 점검하고 책임을 다하도록 유도하는 자율과 책임의 성숙한 지방자치 실현을 핵심 가치로 한다.
