브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 최영해 국민의힘 중앙선대위 대변인은 20일 "이재명 민주당 후보가 서울 용산역 유세에서 '북한이 남쪽의 탱크 진격을 우려해 장벽을 쌓은 것 아니겠느냐'는 발언을 했다"며 "이 발언은 국민을 선동하는 망언이자 북한을 이롭게 하는 이적 행위"라고 비난했다.
최 대변인은 이날 논평을 통해 "북침론은 대한민국 국군이 북한 침공을 계획했다는 터무니없는 주장이다. 대중 앞에서 이를 내뱉은 건 의도적이며, 이 후보가 어느 나라 대통령 후보인지 묻지 않을 수 없다"며 이같이 밝혔다.
그는 "핵무장한 북한을 상대로 남한이 진격하려 했다는 건 상식적으로 불가능하다"며 "6.25 이후 한국이 북한을 먼저 도발한 적이 단 한 번이라도 있었느냐"고 지적했다.
이어 "한미동맹이 없었다면 우리는 이미 북한 손에 들어갔을 것이라는 게 국제사회의 냉엄한 현실"이라며 "이 기본 사실조차 외면하고 북침을 거론하는 것은 결국 표를 위해 북한 편에 서겠다는 것"이라고 주장했다.
최 대변인은 "이재명 후보는 주체사상에 물들어 내재적 접근을 시도하는 주사파 우두머리처럼 행동하고 있다"며 "국군이 탱크로 북을 밀고 갈 계획을 세웠다고 믿는 사람을 어떻게 대통령 후보로 인정할 수 있겠느냐"고 반문했다.
그는 또한 "설령 대통령이 된다 해도 북한에 '셰셰', 중국에도 '셰셰' 하며 적화통일을 앞장서 추진할 것"이라며 "김정은이 반길 북침설을 서울 한복판에서 주장하는 사람이 대통령이 되겠다는 현실이 개탄스럽다"고 말했다.
아울러 "백주대낮에 뜬금없이 북침설을 주장하는 사람에게 나라를 맡기면 현재도, 미래도 없다"며 "이재명 후보의 국가관과 안보관이 이제야 국민 앞에 드러났다"고 밝혔다.
그러면서 "이재명 후보 같은 위험한 인물은 대한민국 대통령 자격이 없다. 그는 자유민주주의 대한민국이 아니라 북한 인민공화국 선거에 출마해야 할 사람이라는 사실을 국민이 알아버렸다"고 덧붙였다.

He added, "A dangerous person like Lee Jae-myung is not qualified to be the president of the Republic of Korea. The people have come to realize that he is someone who should be running in the elections of the North Korean People's Republic, not the free democratic Republic of Korea."
