브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이재명 더불어민주당 대선 후보는 20일 김용태 국민의힘 의원이 영부인도 '공인'이라며 대선후보 배우자 TV토론 생중계를 제안한 데 대해 "그게 말이나 되는 이야기냐. (미혼인) 이준석 후보는 어떻게 하나. 그 당의 문제다. 즉흥적이고 무책임하고 대책이 없다"고 비판했다.
이재명 후보는 이날 경기도 유세에 앞서 기자들과 만난 자리에서 김용태 의원의 배우자 토론회 공개 제안에 "신성한 주권 행사의 장을 그런 식으로 장난치듯이 이벤트화해서는 안 된다"며 이같이 밝혔다.
이 후보는 또한 경기 의정부 태조이성계상 인근에서 벌인 거리 유세에서 "투표를 포기하면 중립인 거 같아도 현재의 기득권을 그대로 용인하고 도와주는 것"이라며 "변화를 바라면 더 나은 세상을 나아가기 바라면 나와서 행동하고 투표해야 된다"고 투표 참여를 독려했다.
이어 이 후보는 "6월 3일은 압도적인 승리의 날이라고 하면 안 된다. 압도적인 응징의 날, 압도적으로 응징해줘야 한다"며 "득표율 몇 % 이런 얘기하지 않는다, 한 표라도 반드시 이겨야 한다. 우리가 지면 대한민국, 정의, 헌법이 지는 것"이라고 말했다.
