필자는 1973년 이후 지금까지 52년 간 기자로 일해 왔습니다. 군대 3년 기간도 기자생활에 꼭 끼어 넣습니다. 왜냐? 군 내부의 기자라 할 수 있는 정훈병(政訓兵-주특기 850)으로 일했었기 때문입니다.
기자생활 52년의 기간은, 대한민국=국가발전에 있어 천지개벽(天地開闢)의 연륜이었습니다.
최근 대한민국이 세계 6대강국(6大强國)에 끼었다는 보도를 접했습니다. 필자가 기자로 일했던 기간, 대한민국은 말 그대로 천지개벽의 기간이었습니다.
농부 출신인 저는 기자가 되어, 미국 뉴욕 맨해튼 5년 기자생활, 두 주간신문사의 편집국장, 주간신문사-일간 종합지-인터넷 신문사 발행인의 길을 주욱 걸어왔습니다.
이런 중, 쉼 없이 지속적으로 글을 써왔습니다.
뒤돌아보니, 필자가 썼던 기사나 글-작품들은 시대정신과 함께 해왔다는 것을 알게 됐습니다.
인터넷 신문인 브레이크뉴스는 올해 23년 째 발행되고 있습니다. 이 신문에 필자의 이름(문일석)으로 쓴 칼럼이나 글이 6,235건+필명(박정대)으로 쓴 글이 7,338건, 모두 합해서 13,573건이 탑재(搭載)돼 있습니다.
전(前)에 편집국장으로 일했던 토요신문, 일요서울에 썼던 기사나 글도 많을 것입니다.
또한 필자가 사주(社主)인 주간현대(28년째)-사건의 내막(27년째)-일간 펜 그리고 자유(1년 6개월)에 썼던 글도 많습니다.

작가로서 펴낸 책도 30여권에 달합니다.
나의 업적을 나열하려, 이 글을 쓰는 게 결코 아닙니다. 이런 글들의 일관성(一貫性)에 대해서 말하려는 의도(意圖)입니다.
필자는 기록의 도구인 연필, 볼펜, 타자기, 컴퓨터 자판, 스마트폰 자판 등과 함께 살아왔습니다. 한시도 게을리 하지 않았습니다.
그런 과정 중 대한민국의 총체적인 발전과 독재정권 비판, 선진 민주주의 안착, 남북 화해-협력, 남남 지역갈등 해소, 기업의 급속 성장, 대한민국의 글로벌 상위국가 진입과정 등등, 대한민국의 시대정신과 함께 했었습니다.
발전하는 대한민국과 함께해온 인생이어서 행복한 시간이었다고, 자부(自負)합니다. 가장 화려하고, 가장 빛난 세월을 살았고, 살아갈 것으로 인지합니다.

I have worked as a reporter for 52 years since 1973. I also include my three years in the military as part of my career as a reporter. Why? Because I worked as a military reporter (specialty 850), a military officer.
My 52 years as a reporter were a turning point in the development of the Republic of Korea.
I recently came across a report that the Republic of Korea was included in the top 6 powers in the world. The period during which I worked as a reporter was literally a turning point for the Republic of Korea. I, a farmer, became a journalist, worked as a journalist in Manhattan, New York for five years, as an editor-in-chief of two weekly newspapers, and as a publisher of a weekly newspaper, daily newspaper, and internet newspaper.
During this time, I continued to write without rest.
Looking back, I realized that the articles, writings, and works I wrote have kept up with the spirit of the times.
Break News, an internet newspaper, has been published for 23 years this year. There are 6,235 columns and articles written under my name (Moon Il-seok) and 7,338 articles written under my pen name (Park Jeong-dae), for a total of 13,573 articles.
There must also be many articles and pieces I wrote for Saturday Newspaper and Sunday Seoul, where I worked as an editor-in-chief before. Also, I have written many articles for Weekly Hyundai (28 years) - Inside the Incident (27 years) - Daily Pen and Freedom (1 year and 6 months), which I am the owner of.
I have also published about 30 books as an author.
I am not writing this article to list my achievements. I intend to talk about the consistency of these articles.
I have lived with tools for recording, such as pencils, ballpoint pens, typewriters, computer keyboards, and smartphone keyboards. I have never been lazy.
During that process, I have been with the spirit of the times in Korea, including the overall development of Korea, criticism of the dictatorship, establishment of advanced democracy, reconciliation and cooperation between the South and the North, resolution of regional conflicts between the South and the South, rapid growth of companies, and the process of Korea entering the ranks of global leaders.
I am proud to say that my life has been a happy time because I have lived with the developing Republic of Korea. I recognize that I have lived and will live the most splendid and most brilliant years.
