부건소에 따르면, 이날 회의에는 보건소를 비롯해 경찰서·소방서·의료기관·정신건강복지센터·중독관리통합지원센터·복지관·교육청 관계자가 참석했다.
참석자들은 각 기관의 역할과 대응 체계를 공유하고, 최근 지역 내 정신건강 관련 위기 사례를 기반으로 보다 긴밀한 협력 체계 구축의 필요성에 대해 이야기를 나눴다.
특히, 위기 상황 발생 시 신속한 정보 공유 및 공동 대응에 따른 구체적인 협력 방안 마련이 주요 의제로 논의됐다.
김윤자 보건소장은 “정신질환 및 자살은 개인적 문제가 아닌 사회적 문제”라며 “기관 간 유기적 협력을 통해 정신건강 문제를 체계적이고 신속하게 대응하는 안전한 부평구를 만드는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 보건소는 정신건강증진 및 자살예방을 위해 정신건강복지센터 2곳을 운영하고 있다.
