[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 시청 상황실에서 ‘2025 국가유산 미디어아트 진주성’ 착수보고회를 열고 본격적인 여름 축제 준비에 들어갔다고 28일 밝혔다.
이번 착수보고회에는 진주시와 진주문화관광재단 관계자, 총감독 등 20여명이 참석해 미디어아트 축제 및 진주 M2 페스티벌의 추진 계획을 공유했다.
2025 국가유산 미디어아트 진주성은 ‘법고창신 진주성도’를 주제로 오는 8월 15일부터 9월 7일까지 24일간 공북문, 중영, 진주대첩 역사공원 등 주요 문화유산 거점에서 개최된다.
국가유산 미디어아트 진주성은 최신 ICT 기술을 접목한 다양한 미디어아트 작품을 통해 진주성의 여름밤을 화려하게 수놓을 예정이다.
또 시는 오는 8월 8~9일 남강과 촉석루를 배경으로 시원한 수상무대 공연과 부대행사가 어우러지는 ‘진주 M2 페스티벌’도 개최할 계획이다.
조규일 진주시장은 “진주만의 창의적이고 차별화된 콘텐츠로 지역민과 관광객이 함께 즐기는 대표 여름 축제가 되도록 철저히 준비하겠다”고 말했다.
