(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 30일, 항암치료나 생식기 수술 등 의학적 사유로 생식기능 상실이 예상되는 대상자를 위해 ‘영구 불임 예상 난자.정자 냉동 지원사업’을 4월 28일부터 시행 중이라고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 사업은 향후 임신이 어려워질 수 있는 상황에 대비해, 생식세포(난자·정자)를 미리 동결·보존하는 비용을 일부 지원하는 제도다.
지원 대상은 ‘모자보건법 시행령’ 제14조에 따른 의학적 사유로 가임력 상실이 우려되는 환자로, 유착성 자궁부속기 절제술, 고환 적출술, 염색체 이상 등으로 인해 임신이 어려워질 수 있는 경우가 해당된다.
