충남 천안시가 올해부터 여성농업인의 건강 보호와 질병 조기 발견을 위한 맞춤형 건강검진 지원에 나선다.
시는 30일, 농작업 질환에 취약한 여성농업인을 위해 ‘특수건강검진 지원 사업’을 본격 추진한다고 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 농촌 현장에서 장시간 반복되는 육체노동에 노출돼 있는 여성농업인을 대상으로 '농약 중독, 근골격계 질환, 심혈관계 이상, 골절 및 손상 위험도, 폐 질환' 등 주요 질병을 조기 진단하고 예방할 수 있도록 지원하는 것이 핵심이다.
특히 전문의와의 상담을 통해 건강 상태에 대한 정확한 평가와 사후 관리까지 연계한다는 점에서 주목된다.
지원 대상은 천안시에 주민등록이 되어 있는 51세에서 70세 사이(1955~1974년 출생)의 홀수년도 출생 여성농업인이다. 농업경영체 등록 기준에 따라 경영주, 공동 경영주, 또는 그 외 등록된 농업 종사자라면 신청할 수 있다.
