(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) (재)인천문화재단이 운영하는 한국근대문학관이 2일 본관 인천전시실 외벽에 여름 ‘시창(詩窓)’을 게시한다.
문학관 전면 거대한 유리벽을 이용하는 ‘시창’은 ‘시가 있는 창’이라는 뜻으로 2014년부터 지금까지 꾸준히 시행되어 오가는 행인부터 일반 시민들에 이르기까지 호평을 받고 있다.
계절이 바뀔 때마다 그 계절에 맞는 시를 게시하는데 지금까지 총 45편의 주옥같은 시들을 소개했다.
이를 통해 시민들은 거리에서 자연스럽게 ‘명시(名詩)’를 접할 수 있다.
이번에 소개되는 시는 故이가림 시인(1943-2015)의 「게 눈」으로 성큼 다가온 여름의 바닷가를 느끼게 하는 작품이다.
1966년 <동아일보> 신춘문예로 시단에 나온 이가림 시인은 시인이자 불문학자, 번역가로 인하대 불문과에서 오랫동안 교편을 잡았으며 인천작가회의 회장을 역임하기도 했다.
문학관에서 운영하는 ‘시창’은 지역 문화 콘텐츠로서도 주목받고 있으며 SNS상에서 포토존으로도 인기를 끌고 있다.
청년층을 중심으로 자발적인 인증샷 공유가 이어지며, 문화공간으로서의 문학관의 역할이 새롭게 조명되고 있다.
문학관 관계자는 “시를 통해 바쁜 일상 속 잠시 멈춤의 순간을 시민들과 나누고자 한다”며 “시와 함께하는 일상이 우리에게 어떤 울림을 줄지 지켜봐달라”고 전했다.

The Incheon Cultural Foundation, a non-profit organization, will post a summer ‘Poetry Window’ on the exterior wall of the Incheon Exhibition Hall in the main building on the 2nd.
The ‘Poetry Window’, which uses the large glass wall in front of the literature museum, means ‘window with poetry’ and has been consistently implemented since 2014 and has been well-received by passersby and ordinary citizens alike.
Poems that fit the season are posted every time the season changes, and a total of 45 exquisite poems have been introduced so far.
