(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시의회가 오는 5일부터 30일까지 26일간의 일정으로 ‘제302회 인천광역시의회 제1차 정례회’를 개회한다고 밝혔다.
인천시의회에 따르면, 이번 정례회에서는 인천시청과 인천시교육청이 제출한 2024회계연도 결산 및 예비비 지출 승인, 2025년도 주요 예산사업 추진 상황 보고 및 추가경정예산안 등에 대한 심의와 함께 ‘제9대 인천시의회 후반기 제2기 예산결산특별위원회 및 윤리특별위원회’위원 선임이 있을 예정이다.
의사일정에 따르면 정례회 첫날인 5일에는 제1차 본회의가 열려 추가경정예산안에 대한 제안설명과 시정질문 관리 현황 보고 등이 진행된다.
이어 6일부터는 상임위원회와 특별위원회별로 조례안과 일반 안건, 2024회계연도 결산 및 예비비 지출 승인 등에 대한 심사가 이뤄질 전망이다.
특히, 24일부터 26일까지는 예산결산특별위원회 활동 기간으로 각 상임위원회에서 심사한 추가경정예산안을 바탕으로 종합적인 예산 검토가 진행된다.
또한, 이번 회기 일정 중 16일부터 18일까지는 시장과 교육감을 상대로 시정 및 교육․학예 전반에 대해 문제점을 지적하고, 시민들이 궁금한 사항을 질문할 예정이다.
마지막으로 30일 폐회하는 ‘제5차 본회의’에서는 각종 안건의 최종 의결 등을 끝으로 정례회가 마무리된다.
정해권 의장은 “이번 정례회는 시정 운영의 투명성과 책임성을 높이는 중요한 계기가 될 것”이라며 “의원들의 활발한 논의를 통해 시민들의 삶에 실질적인 도움이 되는 결정들이 내려지기를 바란다”고 말했다.
