세종시가 5일부터 8일까지 나흘간 서울 코엑스에서 열리는 서울국제관광전(SITF 2025)에 참가해 세종시의 매력적인 관광 콘텐츠를 국내외에 널리 알린다.
올해로 40회를 맞은 서울국제관광전은 국내외 지방자치단체, 호텔, 여행사, 항공사 등 총 500여 곳이 참여하는 국내 최대 규모의 관광 박람회다.
시는 문화체육관광부가 추진하는 ‘서부내륙권 관광진흥사업’의 일환으로 충남·전북과 공동으로 홍보부스를 마련해 세종호수공원, 이응다리 등 지역의 대표적인 관광자원들을 소개한다.
또, ▲자전거길을 활용한 친환경 레저코스 ▲자연·생태 자원을 기반으로 조성된 치유 힐링코스 등 세종·충남·전북 3개 광역을 연계한 다양한 코스를 선보인다.
이밖에 관광 업계 비즈니스 상담, 관광 홍보 이벤트 등 관람객을 위한 풍성한 프로그램도 함께 운영된다.
또, 개막일인 5일에는 세종·충남·전북의 문화체육관광국장이 참석해 서부내륙권 관광 활성화를 위한 업무협약을 체결하고, 연계 관광 코스 및 상품개발, 공동 마케팅 등에 협력하기로 약속했다.
