세종시, ‘뚝딱뚝딱 행복한집’ 주거 취약가구에 새 숨결

세종특별자치시가 생활환경이 열악한 가구를 위한 맞춤형 주거지원에 팔을 걷었다.

소정면지역사회보장협의체(공동위원장 김광태·김한식)는 8일, 케이씨씨(KCC) 세종공장(공장장 윤석헌)과 함께 ‘뚝딱뚝딱 행복한집 사업’을 전개하며 관내 주거취약가구에 대한 집수리 지원을 실시했다.

이번 사업은 KCC세종공장이 세종사회복지공동모금회를 통해 지정 기탁한 후원금으로 진행됐다. 단순한 일회성 행사가 아니라, 지역 내 취약계층의 실제 삶의 질을 높이기 위한 구체적인 민관 협력 사례로 주목된다.

현장에서는 소정면지역사회보장협의체와 바르게살기운동 소정면위원회가 직접 나서 집안 구석구석을 손봤다. 

벽지를 새로 바르고, 오래된 현관 타일과 화장실을 교체하는 등 실질적인 주거환경 개선이 이뤄졌다. 작업에 참여한 위원들은 집안 청소와 물품 정리에도 함께하며 자발적인 봉사의 의미를 더했다.

윤석헌 KCC세종공장장은 이날 “이번 사업을 통해 어려운 이웃들이 보다 나은 환경에서 생활할 수 있게 되어 매우 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회의 취약계층을 위한 지속적인 관심과 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 전했다.

김광태 소정면장 또한 “주거환경이 개선됨으로써 어려운 주민들이 더 안전하고 쾌적한 삶을 누릴 수 있게 되어 매우 보람을 느낀다”며 “복지 사각지대에 놓인 이웃들을 세심히 살피고, 누구도 소외되지 않는 따뜻한 소정면을 만들겠다”고 말했다.

이번 ‘뚝딱뚝딱 행복한집’은 단순한 시설 개선을 넘어, 이웃 간 연대와 민관 협력의 중요성을 다시 한번 되새긴 자리였다. 소정면지역사회보장협의체는 앞으로도 주거 취약계층을 지속적으로 발굴해 KCC세종공장의 후원을 통해 사업을 확대해나갈 계획이다.
