(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 인천시 시립박물관이 9일, 인천에서 태어난 우리나라 최초 미술사학자 우현 고유섭 선생의 탄생 120주년을 기념해 도보답사 프로그램 ‘타박타박, 인천’의 번외편으로 ‘우현 고유섭의 통학 길’을 운영한다고 밝혔다.
인천시립박물관에 따르면, 고유섭은 인천 용동에서 태어나 인천공립보통학교(현 창영초)를 졸업하고, 서울 보성고등보통학교를 거처 경성제국대학 법문학부 철학과에서 미학과 미술사를 전공했다.
1933년 4월 28세로 개성부립박물관장으로 부임해 1944년 별세할 때까지 한국 미술사의 기초를 다졌던 인물이다.
이번 ‘타박타박, 인천’ 답사는 6월 18일 오후 진행되며, 우현의 어릴 적 통학길이었던 창영초에서 용동 생가터까지 옛길을 따라 걸으며 그가 보고 느꼈을 길과 공간이 어떻게 변화했는지 살펴보게 된다.
또한 동인천역에서 부천역까지 경인전철을 타고 이동하면서, 경성제대 통학 시절이던 1926년 조선일보에 게재한 연시조 ｢경인팔경｣ 속 고유섭의 시선을 따라갈 예정이다.
｢경인팔경｣은 그가 열차로 통학하며 차창 밖으로 흘러가는 여덟 곳의 풍경을 시구로 지은 것으로, 100년 전 고유섭의 눈에 비친 차창 밖 풍경과 오늘날의 모습을 직접 비교해 보는 기회가 될 것이다.
