(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천문화재단과 한국역사연구회가 “전쟁과 인권으로 본 부평”을 주제로 오는 14일 오후 1시 부평역사박물관에서 공동 심포지엄을 개최한다.
일제강점기 부평에는 일제의 군수공장과 군사기지가 있었고 해방 이후에는 미군기지와 상이용사촌, 수출산업공단이 있었다.
전쟁과 산업화 시기에 이들 공간은 부평과 인천 사람들에게 어떤 의미였을까. 전쟁과 인권을 키워드로 부평의 역사적 공간에 대한 이야기를 해 보려 한다.
이번 심포지엄에서는 총 6편의 세부 발표와 토론이 진행된다.
첫 번째는 “총동원체제기(1938~45년) 조선총독부의 자동차공업 육성과 디젤자동차공업(주)의 부평공장 운영”을 이명학(한국교원대 교육박물관)이 발표하고 정소현(서울대)이 토론한다.
두 번째는 “”근로가 교육이다“-조병창에 동원된 인천 학생들”을 이상의(인천대)가 발표하고 신주백(연세대 국학연구원)이 토론한다.
세 번째는 “부평 미군기지의 변화와 지역사회의 대응”을 금보운(영남대 민족문화연구소)이 발표하고 권오수(국립순천대 인문학술원)가 토론한다.
네 번째는 “6.25전쟁기 부평 미군기지와 반공포로탈출사건”을 김보영(인천가톨릭대)이 발표하고 양영조(한국국가전략연구원)가 토론한다.
다섯 번째는 “한국전쟁기 이북출신 상이용사촌의 형성과 변화: 부평 화랑농장을 중심으로”를 손민환(부평역사박물관)이 발표하고 류창호(인하대박물관)가 토론한다.
여섯 번째는 “부평수출산업공단 여성노동자들의 노동운동-대한마이크로 노조를 중심으로”를 유경순(한국방송통신대)이 발표하고 장미현(역사문제연구소)이 토론한다.
이어 발표 및 토론자 전원이 참여하는 종합토론이 임학성(인하대)의 사회로 진행된다.
인천문화재단 정책연구실(인천문화유산센터)은 2018년부터 한국역사연구회와 공동으로 매년 인천사 관련 학술회의를 개최하여 인천의 역사와 문화유산에 대한 심층적 이해 확대를 도모하고 있다.
심포지엄 자료는 <인천 문화유산 디지털 아카이브> 홈페이지에 게시하고, 심포지엄 결과는 하반기에 인천학술총서로 발간할 예정이다.

Incheon Cultural Foundation and Korean History Research Association will hold a joint symposium on the topic of "Bupyeong Seen through War and Human Rights" at 1:00 PM on the 14th at the Bupyeong History Museum.

The sixth is “Labor Movement of Female Workers in the Bupyeong Export Industrial Complex: Focusing on the Daehan Micro Union” presented by Yoo Kyung-soon (Korea National Open University) and discussed by Jang Mi-hyeon (Institute for Historical Issues).
Following this, a comprehensive discussion with all presenters and discussants will be moderated by Lim Hak-seong (Inha University).
The Incheon Cultural Foundation Policy Research Office (Incheon Cultural Heritage Center) has been holding an academic conference on Incheon history every year since 2018 in collaboration with the Korean History Research Association to promote a deeper understanding of Incheon’s history and cultural heritage.
The symposium materials will be posted on the <Incheon Cultural Heritage Digital Archive> website, and the symposium results will be published in the Incheon Academic Series in the second half of the year.
