충남 청양군이 여름 휴가철을 앞두고 내수면 수난사고 예방을 위한 대응책 마련에 본격적으로 나섰다.
군은 지난 12일 청양소방서 회의실에서 관련 기관과 함께 ‘여름철 내수면 수난사고 예방 대책회의’를 열고, 20년 연속 인명사고 제로 기록을 이어가기 위한 구체적 실행 방안을 모색했다.
이번 회의에는 청양소방서, 보건의료원, 지역자율방재단, 119시민수상구조대 등 다수의 유관기관과 사회단체 관계자들이 참석해 협업 체계를 점검하고, 사고 예방을 위한 현장 중심 대응 방안을 집중 논의했다.
특히 지난해 기록적인 폭우로 일부 수상 안전시설이 훼손된 점을 감안해, 휴가철 전까지 노후 장비 교체와 안전시설 보강을 완료하기로 뜻을 모았다. 아울러 물놀이 인파가 급증할 가능성에 대비해 '현장 안전요원의 구조 역량 강화 교육', '드론 영상 중계시스템을 통한 실시간 수상 감시', '응급약품 및 구명장비 구비' 등 현장 대응 장비 확보에도 속도를 내기로 했다.
