충남 홍성군자원봉사센터(센터장 방은희)가 주관한 ‘2025 가족봉사단 해양 볼런투어’가 지난 14일 서부면 일대에서 성황리에 마무리됐다.
이번 행사는 가족 단위 참가자 85명이 함께한 가운데, 해양 환경 보호 활동과 생태문화 체험이 어우러진 의미 있는 하루로 꾸며졌다.
참가자들은 금강생태문화연구소 최수경 소장의 해설을 들으며 속동전망대에서 궁리항까지 약 2km 구간을 걸으며 ‘플로깅(plogging)’을 실천했다. 단순한 쓰레기 수거에 그치지 않고, 수거한 쓰레기의 종류와 양을 함께 모니터링하고, 올바른 분리배출 방법까지 실습하며 환경보호에 대한 인식을 높였다.
이어 궁리 어울림센터로 자리를 옮긴 가족봉사단은 몽돌을 활용한 ‘반려돌 테라피’에 참여했다. 이 체험은 돌에 그림을 그리고 감정을 표현하는 활동으로, 가족 간 정서적 교류는 물론 환경 보전의 소중함까지 되새길 수 있도록 기획됐다.
