충남 홍성군이 지난 14일 홍주문화체육센터에서 열린 ‘제3회 탄소중립 실천·확산 대회’를 통해 2025년을 ‘탄소중립 실천 원년’으로 선포하며 본격적인 녹색 전환의 발걸음을 내디뎠다고 16일 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 군민들의 적극적인 참여 속에 홍성의 탄소중립 실현 의지를 다시 한 번 확고히 다지는 계기가 됐다.
이날 행사에는 이용록 홍성군수와 김은미 홍성군의회 부의장, 조국현 홍성교육지원청 교육과장, 박지연 홍성군지속가능발전협의회장, 이환진 홍성군4-H본부 회장을 비롯해 500여 명의 군민들이 참석했다. 이들은 함께 ‘지구야 변하지마, 내가 변할게!’라는 구호를 외치며 탄소중립 실천 선언문을 낭독하고, 공동 퍼포먼스를 통해 기후위기 대응에 대한 결의를 드러냈다.
군은 이날 대회를 통해 정부의 ‘2050 탄소중립 녹색성장 기본계획’ 로드맵에 발맞춰 지역 차원에서 실천 가능한 세부 전략을 수립하고, 이를 일상 속에서 확산하겠다는 비전을 공유했다.
