당초 송도 솔밭 유아숲체험원에서 야외 행사로 기획됐으나, 비 예보로 인해 동빈문화창고 1969로 장소를 옮겨 실내에서 진행됐다. 갑작스러운 장소 변경에도 불구하고 행사장에는 유아부터 고령층까지 다양한 세대의 시민들이 방문하며 활기 넘치는 분위기를 연출했다.
특히 부모와 함께 온 어린이들은 모종 심기, 텃밭 도시락 만들기, 플리마켓 등 다채로운 프로그램에 참여하며 농업을 자연스럽게 체험하고 배울 수 있는 시간을 가졌다. 포항시 신활력플러스 액션그룹이 운영하는 플리마켓에서는 지역 농특산물과 수공예품이 전시·판매되었고, 그림책 쉼터, 피크닉존, 모종 심기 체험 등 가족 단위 방문객을 위한 체험 공간도 큰 호응을 얻었다.
