브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 농심이 오는 21일부터 이틀간, 서울 잠실 국가유산체험센터에서 국가무형유산 ‘한산모시짜기’를 주제로 한 케잇데이 체험행사를 개최한다.
‘케잇데이’는 농심이 국립무형유산원과 협약을 맺고 운영하는 전통문화 체험 프로그램으로, 다양한 국가무형유산 이수자들이 직접 진행한다. 무형유산 보존이라는 사회적 의미와 높은 교육 만족도에 힘입어 지난해 약 1000명이 참가하는 성과를 거뒀다.
이번 케잇데이는 ‘시간과 정성을 엮는 한산모시짜기 기술’을 주제로, 김나연 이수자가 모시풀 껍질로 실을 만들어 엮어내는 한산모시의 특성과 문화적 가치를 설명하고, 참가자들이 직접 한산모시를 활용한 풍경 제작을 체험하는 프로그램으로 구성됐다.
참가자가 만든 풍경은 기념품으로 증정되며, 체험 종료 후 전통 다과와 함께 농심 제품으로 구성된 선물세트도 받을 수 있다.

농심 관계자는 “케잇데이는 농심이 한국 전통문화를 널리 알리고자 마련한 체험형 사회공헌 활동”이라며 “앞으로도 다양한 무형유산을 재미있게 경험할 수 있는 프로그램으로 가꿔 나갈 것이다”고 말했다.
한편, 농심은 올해부터 서울대학교 언어교육원과 손잡고 한국을 찾은 외국인 유학생을 대상으로 케잇데이를 운영하고 있다. 유학생들이 귀국 후에도 한국에 대한 관심을 이어가고, 한국 문화를 전파해 K컬처의 근간인 무형유산에 대한 국제적 관심을 강화하는 목적이다. 농심은 지난 5월 말레이시아 국비유학생 50여 명을 대상으로 진행한 첫 행사를 성공적으로 마쳤다.
