거창에 ‘신달자 문학관’ 조성

[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 지난 16일 거창 출신의 원로 시인 신달자 교수와 ‘신달자 문학관’ 조성을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 20일 밝혔다.

이날 협약식에는 구인모 군수와 신달자 시인이 참석해 협약서에 서명하고 기념 촬영을 진행했으며, 이후 차담을 나누며 지역 문학 발전 방향에 대한 환담을 가졌다. 

이번 협약을 통해 신달자 시인은 자신의 주요 작품과 문학 자료를 문학관에 기증하고, 향후 전시 콘텐츠 기획과 문학 프로그램 운영에 협력하기로 했다.

신달자 시인은 1943년 거창 출생으로, 1964년 시 ‘환상의 밤’으로 등단한 이후 60년 넘게 한국 현대시를 이끌어온 대표적 문인이며, 숙명여대 국문과 및 대학원을 졸업하고 평택대·명지전문대 교수, 한국시인협회장, 대한민국예술원 회원 등으로 활동했다. 대표 시집으로는 ‘열애’, ‘북촌’, ‘전쟁과 평화가 있는 내 부엌’ 등 17권과 산문집으로는 ‘고백’, ‘물 위를 걷는 여자’ 등이 있으며, 한국시인협회상, 은관문화훈장, 만해대상 등을 수상한 바 있다.
