시는 23일 오전 시청 알천홀에서 주낙영 시장 주재로 ‘2025년 6월 확대간부회의’를 열고 하반기 역점 사업 추진에 대한 전략을 논의했다고 밝혔다.
이날 회의에는 간부 공무원 100여 명이 참석한 가운데 각 부서별 하반기 중점 추진사업과 주요 현안에 대한 보고가 진행됐다. 특히 오는 10월 개최되는 APEC 정상회의 준비상황과 2025년도 정부합동평가 대응 방안이 집중 논의됐다.
주낙영 시장은 모두발언을 통해 “이제는 민선 8기 시정 성과를 시민들과 공유하고, 남은 과제는 부서 간 협업을 통해 차질 없이 마무리해야 할 시점”이라며 “특히 APEC 정상회의를 계기로 경주가 국제도시로 도약할 수 있도록 완성도 높은 준비에 최선을 다해달라”고 당부했다.
이날 회의에서는 다음달 초 계획된 언론인 간담회 추진계획도 소개됐다. 간담회에서는 민선 8기 3년간의 주요 성과뿐 아니라, 민선 7기 4년간 추진해온 핵심 시정 성과도 함께 브리핑될 예정이다. 아울러 APEC 정상회의 준비상황과 향후 시정 운영 방향 등도 언론에 공식 발표된다.
