(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 경인교육대학교와 인천난정평화교육원이 최근 경인교육대학교 인천캠퍼스에서 ‘평화역량 강화를 위한 업무협약(MOU)’을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
경인교대에 따르면,. 이번 협약은 양 기관이 정기적인 평화교육 프로그램 운영과 공동 연구, 교육자료 개발을 통해 평화교육의 제도적 기반을 강화하겠다는 데 뜻을 모은 것이다.
협약식은 국민의례를 시작으로 참석자 소개, 기관장 인사말, 인천난정평화교육원 소개 영상 시청, 협약서 서명, 기념촬영 순으로 이어졌다.
행사에는 김왕준 경인교육대 총장, 이동희 국제교류대외협력센터 소장, 김동훈 기획과장과 김명순 인천난정평화교육원장, 심순아 교육운영과장, 손은영 교육연구사 등 참석했다.
김명순 원장은 인사말을 통해 “지속가능한 평화는 교육을 통해 이뤄진다”며, “이번 협약이 지역사회와 대학이 함께 실현하는 평화교육의 좋은 선례가 되길 기대한다”고 말했다. 이어 김왕준 총장은 “경인교육대학교는 미래 세대가 갖춰야 할 핵심 역량으로서 평화감수성과 시민의식을 강조하고 있다”며, “오늘 협약이 양 기관의 실질적 협력으로 이어지길 바란다”고 화답했다.
