[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 산청군이 26일 창원컨벤션센터에서 열린 ‘제29회 경남도 수출탑 시상식’에서 지난해에 이어 수출신장상을 수상했다.
지난해 산청군은 글로벌 국제 경기 악화에도 해외시장 개척을 통한 농산물 수출을 위해 홍보판촉전을 3회 개최한 바 있다.
또 산청군수출협회와 해마다 LA한인축제 농수산엑스포에 참여하고 있으며 올해 1월에는 미국 시장을 겨냥한 판촉 행사도 2회 가졌다.
뿐만 아니라 K-농산물 전략품목 통합지원사업과 신선농산물 생산단지 클로컬 육성 지원사업, 농식품가공 수출전문업체 해외진출 지원사업, 해외 신시장 개척 마케팅 지원사업 등 다양한 수출지원사업을 추진했다.
이런 노력은 신선농산물, 가공식품, 축산물, 임산물 등 역대 최고 수출액(161억원)을 달성하는 쾌거로 이어졌다.
산청군은 올해 하반기 미국, 호주, 캐나다 등 판촉 행사를 준비하고 있다.
이승화 산청군수는 “앞으로도 미국 안테나숍 운영, 수출농가 지원사업 확대 및 해외 신시장 개척 마케팅 강화 등 농특산물 수출 확대에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
한편 산청군양잠농업협동조합과 신선농산물 수출농업단지로 지정돼 산청 대표 농산물 딸기를 수출하는 금실영농조합법인은 수출탑을 수상했다.
