[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시가 30일 삼계정수장 상황실에서 상반기 수돗물평가위원회 정기회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
김해시 수돗물평가위원회는 상수도 분야 전문가와 시민단체 관계자 등으로 구성된 자문기구로 관계 부서 공무원과 협력해 수돗물 수질검사 결과 검토, 수도시설 운영, 수질 개선 방안에 대한 자문 등 다양한 역할을 수행하고 있다.
회의에서는 2025년 주요 수질개선사업 추진현황과 하절기 녹조, 유충 대응 수질관리 대책, 2024년도 수돗물 품질 보고 후 수돗물 시민 신뢰도 제고 방안을 논의했다. 참석자들은 수돗물 신뢰도 제고 방안으로 찾아가는 수돗물 안심확인제 확대 운영과 수돗물 찬새미 적극 홍보 등 다양한 의견을 제시했다.
시는 올해 깨끗하고 안전한 수돗물 공급을 위해 △여과지 노후 밸브 교체 △입상활성탄 교체 △소형생물 대응체계 구축사업 추진 △창암취수장 차아염소산나트륨 제조·투입시설 설치 △내외동, 삼문동 노후관 개량사업 △상수도 비상공급망 구축사업 등을 추진하고 있다.
아울러 하절기 녹조와 유충 발생시 취수 단계부터 조류 유입 차단과 강변여과수 혼합 취수로 안전한 상수원을 확보하고 원·정수 수질모니터링 강화와 최적화된 정수공정 운영으로 녹조와 유충을 체계적으로 관리해 나가고 있다.
시는 2024년 한 해 동안 정수장, 마을상수도, 소규모 급수시설 등을 대상으로 실시한 수질검사 결과 삼계·명동정수장 생산 수돗물은 먹는물 수질기준 60개 전 항목 ‘적합’으로 나타났다.
