(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 1일 초록우산어린이재단과 협력해 ‘위기 임산부·영아 원가정 양육지원사업’을 본격 추진한다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 이번 사업은 위기 상황에 놓인 임산부와 36개월 미만 영유아를 양육하는 취약·위기가정을 조기에 발굴하고, 실질적인 지원을 제공하는 것을 목표로 한다.
인천시는 공적 양육비 외에도 민간 후원금(월 20만 원 이내)과 1:1 맞춤형 사례 관리, 양육키트(출산·양육·생활지원 물품) 등 다양한 민관 자원을 연계해, 위기가정이 가족기능을 유지하고 원가정 내에서 아동이 안정적으로 성장할 수 있도록 돕는다.
이를 위해 인천시는 군·구 및 읍면동 공무원과 위기임신상담기관인 ‘자모원’ 등을 대상으로 실무 교육을 진행해 대응 역량을 강화하고, 지역사회에 적용 가능한 복지 모델을 제시했다.
인천시는 올해 첫 운영을 통해 사업 효과를 검토한 뒤, 초록우산의 안정적인 민간 후원 기반을 바탕으로 향후 단계적 확대를 추진할 계획이다.
초록우산 인천지역본부 이서영 본부장은 “인천시의 적극적인 행정 협력 덕분에 위기 영아를 보다 신속하고 체계적으로 지원할 수 있는 기반이 마련됐다”며 “사업 활성화를 위해 지속적인 관심과 후원을 부탁드린다”고 전했다.
