장애인의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 충남 예산군의 장기 비전 수립 작업이 본격화되고 있다.
군은 ‘장애인복지 5개년 종합계획’ 마련을 위한 연구 용역을 진행 중이며, 그 일환으로 정책 방향과 추진 현황을 점검하는 중간보고회를 열고 실효성 있는 복지정책 수립을 위한 의견 수렴에 나섰다.
예산군은 지난 30일 군청 중회의실에서 행정복지국장을 비롯해 지역 장애인단체 관계자, 복지시설장 등 20여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘예산군 장애인복지 5개년 종합계획 수립용역’의 중간보고회를 개최했다고 1일 밝혔다.
이날 보고회에서는 용역을 맡은 충남사회서비스원의 이정랑 책임연구원이 직접 발표를 맡아, 지난 3월부터 추진 중인 연구의 주요 경과와 조사 결과를 공유했다.
발표에 따르면 이번 용역은 장애인 관련 제도와 정책에 대한 분석, 지역 내 장애인 현황 파악, 재가 장애인과 복지서비스 이용자를 대상으로 한 실태 및 욕구조사 등을 포함하고 있다.
보고회에 참석한 관계자들은 지역 여건과 장애 특성을 고려한 복지정책 수립의 필요성에 공감하며, 조사 결과의 현장 적용 방안과 정책 실효성 제고를 위한 다양한 의견을 제시했다.
