[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 지난 1일 취임한 제31대 신대호 부시장이 첫 행보로 여름철 재해 취약지역 현장을 점검했다고 4일 밝혔다.
현장점검은 2일과 3일 양일간 이뤄졌으며, 여름철 물놀이장인 대청계곡을 시작으로, 장유 용곡마을회관에서는 폭염 취약계층인 농업 종사 어르신을 대상으로 순회교육을 했다. 또 상습침수지역의 우수관로 준설 현장과 조만강 일원 등 재해취약지 현장을 두루 살폈다.
김해시는 오는 9월 30일까지를 폭염대책 기간으로 정하고, 폭염대응TF팀을 운영하며 무더위쉼터, 마을회관 등을 찾아가 폭염 취약계층 보호를 위한 순회교육과 행동요령 안내를 이어간다.
또 10월 15일까지를 태풍, 집중호우에 대비한 여름철 자연재난 대책기간으로 정해 인명피해 예방을 위한 주민대피계획 수립과 인명피해 우려지역 일제점검 등을 실시한다.
신대호 부시장은 호우나 폭염으로 인한 기상특보 시 읍·면·동 마을방송, 가두방송, 이통장과 마을순찰대를 통한 예찰활동을 당부하면서 “집중호우와 폭염 등 이상기후가 빈번하게 발생하고 있는 만큼 철저한 준비로 안전한 김해시 만들기에 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
