[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 창녕군은 여름철 무더위 속 군민들의 시원한 휴식처를 제공하기 위해 8일부터 17일까지 도시공원 내 어린이 물놀이장을 일제히 개장한다.
창녕읍 문화공원과 남지읍 홍포공원 내 물놀이장 2곳으로 매일 오전 10시 20분부터 오후 5시까지 개방된다.
매주 월요일은 물탱크 청소 및 시설물 점검을 위한 정기 휴무일이며, 우천 시에도 운영하지 않는다.
해당 물놀이장은 샤워실, 화장실, 그늘막 등 편의시설을 갖추고 있으며, 매년 1만 명 이상이 찾는 여름철 인기 시설로, 군민들의 시원한 휴식처로 각광받는 곳이다.
창녕군은 개장에 앞서 물놀이장 내 시설물 정비와 수질 소독, 위생관리 등을 완료했으며, 안전교육을 이수한 안전요원을 배치해 안전사고 예방에도 만전을 기할 예정이다.
군 관계자는 “어린이들이 안전하게 물놀이를 즐길 수 있도록 수질 및 시설 안전관리에 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
