[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시-김해대학교-김해요양병원협의체가 손잡고 지역사회 돌봄 인력 문제 해결을 위한 공동 대응에 나섰다.
3기관은 8일 김해대학교에서 ‘외국인 요양보호사 양성 및 지역 돌봄 연계 강화를 위한 업무협약’을 체결하고, 지속 가능한 지역 돌봄 생태계 구축에 협력하기로 했다.
고령화가 빠르게 진행되면서 돌봄 서비스 수요는 늘고 있지만, 요양보호사 등 인력 확보는 점점 어려워지고 있는 상황 속, 이번 협약은 외국인 우수 인재를 지역에서 직접 양성하고 현장에 연계해 정착을 유도하는 선순환 구조를 마련하는 데 그 의미가 있다.
이번 협약을 통해 세 기관은 요양보호사 교육제도 활성화, 취업 연계를 통한 안정적 인력 확보, 산학협력을 통한 최신 정보 공유, 맞춤형 인재 양성 기반 마련 등을 협력한다.
김해시는 행정·제도적 지원을 맡고, 김해대학교는 교육과정 운영과 인프라 제공을 통해 외국인 돌봄 인재 양성의 허브 역할을 한다.
김해요양병원협의체는 현장 수요를 반영한 실무 중심 교육과 실습 기회를 제공하며, 인재의 취업 연계에도 적극 협력할 예정이다.
