(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구 문화재단이 오는 8월 29일부터 30일까지 양일간 부평아트센터 일대에서 '2025 뮤직 플로우 페스티벌(MUSIC FLOW FESTIVAL)'을 개최한다.
재단에 따르면, 올해로 5회째를 맞는 뮤직 플로우 페스티벌은 부평 미군기지 애스컴(ASCOM)을 중심으로 한국 대중음악사의 중요한 흐름을 이끈 부평의 역사성을 기반으로 기획된 음악 축제다.
먼저 29일(금)에는 부평아트센터 해누리극장에서 열리는 ‘애스컴 스테이지’를 통해 한국 펑크·소울 음악의 전설 ‘사랑과 평화’와 8인조 밴드 ‘킹스턴 루디스카’가 무대에 오른다.
이번 공연은 무료로 진행되며, 7월 28일(월)부터 부평구문화재단 이모드니 홈페이지를 통해 사전 예약이 가능하다.
이어 30일(토)에는 부평아트센터 야외광장에서 ‘뮤직 스테이지’가 열린다.
출연진으로는 싱어송라이터 ‘이승윤’, 국내외 페스티벌에서 활약 중인 ‘글렌체크’와 ‘김뜻돌’이 무대를 장식한다.
여기에 잼 밴드 ‘까데호’와 혼성 3인조 ‘튜즈데이 비치 클럽’도 참여한다.
특히, 부평구문화재단이 진행한 2024 지역 뮤지션 음반 제작 지원 사업 참여 이후 창작가요제에서 수상하며 주목받고 있는 신예 밴드 ‘삼점일사’가 함께한다.
해당 무대는 별도 예약 없이 현장 선착순으로 관람할 수 있다.
로컬 굿즈 팝업스토어, 미니 스케이트 파크, 그래피티 라이브 페인팅 등 매년 부평만의 개성을 담은 다양한 서브컬처 프로그램도 함께 선보인다.
또한 부평의 음악 역사성을 아카이브 형태로 시민들에게 소개하는 '애스컴 아카이브 전시'도 양일간 진행된다.
부평구문화재단 관계자는 "이번 페스티벌을 통해 부평만의 독창적인 음악과 서브컬처 콘텐츠를 알리고, 시민들이 음악도시 부평을 더 가까이 느낄 수 있도록 기획했다"고 말했다.
