전북교육청이 지난 5월 베트남 교육훈련부 산하 국제교육개발센터(CIED)와 체결한 업무협약 후속 절차로 외국인 유학생 유치에 착수했다.
10일 전북교육청에 따르면 2026학년도 직업계고 외국인 유학생 선발을 위해 지난 9일부터 2일간의 일정으로 베트남 현지에서 1차 선발 심사를 실시했다.
베트남 고등학생들의 전북 고등학교 입학이 가시화된 이번 선발 심사는 직업계고 외국인 유학생 선도학교 교장 등 10여 명이 베트남 교육훈련부 국제교육개발센터(CIED)를 방문해 서류 및 면접 등을 심사했다.
CIED는 지난달 30일까지 유학생 모집 및 접수를 완료하고 총 48명의 지원자 가운데 25명을 전북교육청에 추천했다.
전북교육청은 이들을 대상으로 1차 심사를 진행해 18명을 최종 선발했다.
이들은 입학 전까지 베트남 현지에서 '한국어 및 한국 생활문화 교육'에 참여한 다.
