부천천문과학관, ‘시티 오브 스타’ 7월 22일부터 주 5회 운영

(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천천문과학관이 14일, 여름방학을 맞아 학생들의 과학문화 체험 기회를 확대하기 위해, ‘시티 오브 스타’ 야간 프로그램을 오는 7월 22일부터 8월 14일까지 주 5회로 확대 운영한다고 밝혔다.

부천천문과학관에 따르면, 이번 특별 야간개장은 기존 주 2회(금·토) 운영되던 야간 프로그램을 방학 기간 주 5회, 화요일부터 토요일까지 확대해 운영한다. 

부천시는 이번 프로그램을 통해 더 많은 학생과 시민이 여름철 야간 천문 체험에 참여할 것으로 보고 있다.

‘시티 오브 스타’는 천체투영관에서 계절별 별과 별자리를 설명한 뒤, 천체관측실에서 망원경을 이용해 실제 별, 달, 행성 등을 관측하는 부천천문과학관의 정규 야간 프로그램이다.   

참가 예약은 네이버 예약 시스템(‘부천천문과학관’검색)을 통해 가능하며, 자세한 내용은 부천천문과학관 홈페이지또는 네이버 예약 페이지에서 확인할 수 있다.

부천천문과학관 관계자는 “이번 야간 확대 운영은 여름철 천문 체험 수요에 대응하기 위한 조치”라며, “학생과 시민들이 도심 속에서 보다 쉽게 과학문화를 접할 수 있는 기회가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

Bucheon Astronomical Science Museum announced on the 14th that it will expand the 'City of Stars' night program to 5 times a week from July 22 to August 14 in order to expand students' opportunities to experience science and culture during summer vacation.

According to Bucheon Astronomical Science Museum, this special night opening will expand the night program, which was previously operated twice a week (Friday and Saturday), to 5 times a week during vacation, from Tuesday to Saturday.
