(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) (재)인천서구문화재단 문화예술교육지원센터가 14일, ‘2025 기초단위 문화예술교육 활성화 지원사업’의 일환으로 지역특화 문화예술교육 공모사업 ‘서로-예술노리’를 본격 추진한다고 밝혔다.
서구문화재단에 따르면, 이번 사업은 인천 서구를 5개 권역으로 나누고, 권역별 인구 특성과 생애주기에 맞춰 기획된 맞춤형 프로그램을 지역 예술강사들이 직접 기획하고 운영하는 방식으로 진행된다.
이번 공모사업은 단순히 기관 중심이 아닌 지역 주민의 의견을 바탕으로 기획된 참여형 모델이라는 점에서 주목할 만하다.
지난 5월부터 7월까지 인천서구문화재단은 지역 주민을 대상으로 ‘서구 문화예술교육 방향 찾기 설문조사’를 온라인으로 실시했으며, 총 910명의 서구민이 응답해 지역의 문화예술교육에 대한 높은 관심과 기대를 보여주었다.
이와 함께 권역별로 사전 신청을 받아 주민들이 직접 참여한 ‘라운드테이블’도 대면으로 운영됐으며, 이 과정에서 주민들의 생생한 의견과 지역별 문화 수요가 공유됐다.
이번 ‘서로-예술노리’ 공모사업은 이러한 설문조사 및 라운드테이블 결과를 토대로 기획된 권역/생애주기 맞춤형 사업으로, 예술강사들은 해당 자료에 기반해 자신만의 창의적인 프로그램을 제안하고 운영할 수 있다.
‘서로-예술노리’는 지난해 처음 운영된 생애주기별 문화예술교육을 바탕으로, 올해는 지역 주민의 생활공간으로 직접 찾아가는 ‘생활밀착형 문화예술교육’으로 한층 발전해 운영된다.
지난해에는 문화예술교육 전용 공간인 서구드림아카데미 신현에서 모든 권역 프로그램이 통합 운영됐으나, 올해는 권역별 특성과 수요에 따라 각 지역으로 직접 찾아가는 방식으로 전환했다.
공모를 통해 지역 예술강사가 개발된 프로그램이 각 권역별 운영됨에 따라 지역주민의 접근성과 효과성을 한층 높인다.
특히, 이번 사업은 지역 예술강사 대상 문화예술교육 프로그램 공모를 통해 기획 역량 강화와 안정적인 활동 기회를 제공하며, 지역 주민들에게는 자신이 속한 생애주기와 관심사에 맞는 문화예술교육을 가까운 곳에서 경험할 수 있는 계기를 마련해준다.
공모에 선정된 지역 예술강사에게는 강사비, 재료비, 기획개발비, 성과공유회비용 등 프로그램 운영에 필요한 전반적인 지원이 제공된다.
‘서로-예술노리’ 사업 운영 권역은 다음과 같다.
검단·오류·불로·당하·원당·아라·대곡·마전·왕길 지역으로 구성된 5권역은 아동, 석남과 가좌가 속한 4권역은 시니어, 가정, 신현, 원창 지역으로 구성된 3권역은 청년, 청라 지역인 2권역은 청소년, 연희·검암·경서·공천·백석·시천·심곡이 포함된 1권역은 중장년을 대상으로 프로그램이 기획될 예정이다.
또한, 지난해 청년을 대상으로 진행된 프로그램은 올해 더욱 심화된 형태로 확대 운영된다.
‘서로-예술노리’ 공모는 오는 7월 14일부터 7월 27일까지 접수 받으며, 인천 서구를 기반으로 활동 중인 예술강사들의 많은 참여를 기대하고 있다.
선정된 프로그램은 8월 중 기획개발 과정을 거쳐 9월 참여자 모집을 진행하고, 10월부터 11월까지 각 권역 내에서 5회차에 걸쳐 운영된다.
서구문화재단 관계자는 “이번 공모는 ‘서로-예술노리’는 지역 예술강사와 주민이 함께 만들어가는 생활 밀착형 문화예술교육 모델”이라며 “지역과 예술을 잇는 의미 있는 여정에 많은 예술강사들의 적극적인 참여를 바란다”고 전했다.
