대한민국독도협회는 15일, 일본 정부가 이날 오전에 발표한 “일본의 방위백서에 포함된 독도 영유권 주장을 즉각 철회하라”는 성명서를 발표했다.

방위백서란 ‘국가 안보를 위해 현상을 분석하고 미래를 전망하여 그 내용을 국민에게 알리는 보고서로 표지가 백색이라 방위백서라 호칭하고 있다.
