(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 오는 11월 26일까지 주민등록지와 실거주지의 일치 여부를 확인하기 위한 ‘2025년 주민등록 사실조사’를 실시한다고 밝혔다.
부평구에 따르면, 주민등록 사실조사는 ‘비대면-디지털 조사(8월31일까지)’와 ‘거주지 방문조사(9월1일~10월23일)’로 이뤄진다.
먼저 비대면 조사는 조사 대상자가 본인의 거주지(주민등록지)에서 ‘정부24’ 앱에 접속한 후 사실조사 사항에 응답하는 방식으로 진행된다.
방문 조사는 ‘비대면 조사 미참여 세대’와 ‘중점 조사 대상’이 포함된 세대가 대상으로 실시된다.
중점 조사 대상은 100세 이상 고령자 ,5년 이상 장기 거주불명자, 사망의심자, 복지취약계층, 장기 미인정 결석 및 학령기 미취학아동이 포함된 세대이다.
주민등록 사실조사 기간 중 주민등록법 위반자가 거주지 동 행정복지센터로 자진신고하는 경우, 부과되는 과태료의 최대 80%까지 감경받을 수 있다.
부평구 관계자는 “주민등록의 정확성을 높이기 위해 정부24앱을 통한 비대면 사실조사에 많은 참여를 부탁드린다”며 “이후 방문조사에도 구민들의 적극적인 협조를 부탁드린다”고 말했다.

또한, 부평구가 18일, 안전한 교통환경 조성을 위해 ‘교통사고 잦은 곳 개선사업’을 추진한다고 밝혔다.
부평구에 따르면, 대상지는 한국지엠삼거리, 동소정사거리, 백마장사거리, 장제로381(맥도날드 삼산점 앞) 등 교통사고 다발지점 4곳이다.
이들 장소에서는 2023년 기준으로 각각 5건 이상의 인명피해 교통사고가 발생했다.
앞서 부평구는 대상지 4곳을 사고 발생 원인별로 분석한 바 있다. 분석 결과를 바탕으로 사업비 6억 4천만원을 들여 교통안전시설물을 보강하는 등의 도로교통환경 개선사업을 오는 10월 마칠 예정이다.
개선 예정 사항은 횡단보도 집중조명 설치, 신호과속단속카메라 설치, 바닥형 신호등 설치, 미끄럼방지포장 시설 확충, 교통섬 제거(한국지엠삼거리) 등이다.
관련 사업은 구를 비롯해 인천광역시·인천경찰청·부평경찰서·삼산경찰서·도로교통공단 인천광역시지부·행정안전부가 상호 협의해 추진하고 있다.
부평구 관계자는 “해당 사업을 통해 보행자 안전사고를 예방하고 원활한 차량 통행 환경을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 현장 중심의 점검과 개선을 통해 보행자와 운전자가 모두 안전한 부평이 될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
