[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 합천군이 어려움에 처한 농업을 살리기 위해 농업의 야전사령관들을 초청해 간담회를 가졌다.
군은 지난 17일 NH농협은행 도기문 지부장, 합천축협 유경도 상임이사, 산림조합 김태수 조합장, 해인사농협 양무천 조합장, 합천새남부농협 김진석 조합장, 합천호농협 송정호 조합장, 율곡농협 강호윤 조합장, 합천동부농협 노태윤 조합장, 합천농협 나상정 조합장 등을 초청해 농업기술센터 2층 소회의실에서 첫 간담회를 가졌다.
조합장들은 농업 현장에서 느낀 합천농업의 현실, 당면한 문제점과 해결방안을 김 군수에게 전달했다.
주된 내용은 농업에 ICT, AI 등 혁신 기술을 접목한 과학영농 실현, 병충해 방제 시행시기 조정을 통한 효과성 증대, 합천쌀 품질향상을 위한 대책, 무인헬기와 드론 활용의 장단점 분석 등 다양한 아이디어와 정책을 제시했다.
김윤철 군수는 “군민이 잘 사는 것이 우리 군의 최우선 과제이며, 그 핵심은 농업인의 소득 증대에 있다. 농협과 축협, 산림조합이 그 중심에서 중요한 역할을 하고 있으며, 조합장님들의 노력 덕분에 우리 군민의 삶이 한결 나아지고 있다”고 말했다.
