(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 21일, 과학기술정보통신부 지정 국가 공인 인증기관으로부터 교육청 및 부서 특화 홈페이지 4곳에 대해 ‘웹 접근성 품질 인증’을 획득했다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 인증을 받은 홈페이지는 인천시교육청 대표 홈페이지, 인천특수교육지원센터, 학부모꿈디교육, 학생안전체험관으로, 모두 100%에 가까운 접근성 지침 준수율을 기록했다.
웹 접근성 품질 인증은 장애인, 고령자 등 정보 취약계층이 불편 없이 이용할 수 있도록 ‘웹 접근성 지침’ 95% 이상을 준수하고 전문가 및 실제 사용자 심사를 통과한 사이트에 부여된다.
인천시교육청은 본청과 각급 학교 홈페이지를 통합 관리하며, 웹 접근성 준수율을 수시로 점검하고 필요한 개선 조치를 이어가고 있다.
특히, 6월에는 고령자·시각장애인을 위한 ‘첨부문서 음성지원’ 기능 ‘바로듣기’ 서비스를 선도적으로 도입했다.
인천시교육청 관계자는 “상반기에는 인천성동학교, 인천혜광학교, 인천청인학교 등 3개 특수학교 홈페이지가 품질 인증을 받는 등 웹 접근성 향상 노력이 점차 결실을 맺고 있다”며 “앞으로도 모두가 편리하게 교육 정보를 이용할 수 있도록 개선해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
