충남 부여군(군수 박정현)은 외국인 계절근로자 배정이 확정된 지역 내 193개 농가를 대상으로 21일 여성문화회관에서 사전 교육과 폭염 대응 안전 교육을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
이번 교육은 외국인 계절근로자의 정착을 돕고, 여름철 고온 환경 속에서 안전한 노동 여건을 조성하기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 교육에서는 외국인 계절근로자 입국을 위한 행정 절차와 필요 서류, 고용주가 반드시 숙지해야 할 법적 의무와 고용관리 방안, 체류 중 발생할 수 있는 문제 발생 시 대응 요령 등에 대한 설명이 진행됐다. 특히 근로계약의 명확한 작성과 이행, 체류기간 중 근로자의 인권 보호에 대한 인식 강화가 핵심적으로 강조됐다.
아울러 폭염기 농작업 중 발생할 수 있는 건강 이상 상황에 대비한 예방 교육도 함께 이뤄졌다. 열사병, 탈진 등 고온질환의 위험성과 함께, '충분한 수분 섭취', '작업 중간 휴식 보장', '한낮 고온 시간대 작업 자제' 등의 구체적인 대응 수칙이 안내됐다. 군은 고용주들에게 “근로자의 건강권 보호를 최우선으로 고려해달라”고 거듭 당부했다.
부여군 관계자는 "이번 교육을 통해 외국인 계절근로자들의 보다 안전하고 효율적인 근로환경이 조성되고, 고용주 역시 책임 있는 자세로 함께 해주시길 바란다”고 밝혔다.
