(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부천시가 지난 21일부터 오는 11월 26일까지 주민등록의 정확성을 확보하고 행정서비스의 효율성을 높이기 위해 ‘주민등록 사실조사’를 실시한다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 이번 조사는 주민등록지와 실제 거주지의 일치 여부를 확인하기 위해 매년 시행되는 국가 조사로, 각종 정책 수립과 행정서비스 제공을 위한 기초자료로 활용된다.
조사 기간은 7월 21일부터 8월 31일까지 비대면 조사, 9월 1일부터 10월 23일까지 방문 조사로 구분되며, 방문 조사는 통장과 담당 공무원이 직접 실시한다.
비대면 조사는 대상자가 ‘정부24’ 앱에 접속해 위치기반(GPS)을 통해 주민등록지에서의 실제 거주 여부를 확인받고 응답하는 방식이며, 주소가 같은 세대는 세대원 1인이 대표로 응답할 수 있다.
특히, 참여 세대는 원칙적으로 방문 조사 대상에서 제외된다.
다만, 100세 이상 고령자, 5년 이상 장기 거주불명자, 사망의심자, 고위험 복지위기가구, 장기 미인정 결석 또는 학령기 미취학 아동이 포함된 중점 조사 대상 세대는 비대면 응답 여부와 관계없이 방문 확인 조사를 진행한다.

아울러 주민등록 사실조사 기간(7월 21일~11월 13일) 중 주민등록 위반 사항을 자진 신고하면, 주민등록법에 따라 부과되는 과태료가 최대 80%까지 감면된다.
이에 부천시는 주민등록상 주소와 실제 거주지가 다른 시민들이 기한 내 자진 신고에 참여할 것을 권장한다.
