【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 동구의 여름밤이 물과 음악으로 물들었다. 동구청이 올해 처음 선보인 여름축제 ‘두두썸동(두근두근썸머동구)’이 지난 26일 동촌둔치 공영주차장에서 2만여 명의 관람객을 끌어들이며 성황리에 막을 내렸다.
‘두두썸동’은 더위를 식혀줄 체험과 볼거리, 그리고 동구만의 관광 자원을 결합한 신개념 여름 테마 축제로, 동구가 관광문화도시로 나아가는 출발선에 섰음을 알렸다.
축제는 체험과 공연, 먹거리까지 세대와 취향을 아우르는 프로그램들로 채워졌다.
시민들의 참여 열기가 뜨거웠던 ‘폭염타파 챌린지’와 대규모 물놀이존 ‘워터서바이벌’은 남녀노소 누구에게나 시원한 해방감을 선사했고, ‘낭만 수제맥주펍’에서는 전국 각지의 수제맥주를 즐기려는 사람들로 밤늦도록 북적였다.
청년들의 에너지로 무대를 달군 댄스경연대회 ‘썸머 무브 잇’은 축제의 흥을 끌어올렸고, 대미를 장식한 ‘워터밤 콘서트’는 그야말로 물과 음악의 절정을 선보였다. 노라조, 효린, 박명수 등 인기 아티스트들이 시원한 물줄기 속 무대에 올라, 관객들과 함께 한여름의 열기를 날려버렸다.
