(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시가 28일, 고물가와 경기 침체로 어려움을 겪는 시민들의 부담을 덜기 위해 2025년도 도시가스 소매공급비용을 동결하기로 결정했다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면, 도시가스 소비자 요금은 도매요금(93%)과 소매공급비용(7%)으로 구성되며 이 중 도매요금(원료비+도매공급비용)은 산업통상자원부장관이 승인하고 소매공급비용은 시장이 매년 외부 전문기관을 선정하여 용역을 통해 산정한다.
용역결과, 인건비 상승 및 고객센터 수수료 증가 등 인상 요인이 많았음에도 불구하고 도시가스사의 판로확대 등의 노력으로 판매 열량이 증가하면서 요금 인상분(평균사용량 공급비용 0.05원/㎥ 인상, 인상률 0.08%)이 소폭 발생했다.
이에 따라 인천시는 물가 안정을 도모하고 시민부담 완화를 위해 요금을 동결하기로 했다.
